Dr. Ricardo Suarez
Dentist & Practice Owner
Dr. Ricardo Suarez has been transforming smiles and building lifelong patient relationships since 2000. A proud graduate of the USC School of Dentistry and a residency alum of the Miami VA, Dr. Suarez blends advanced clinical expertise with a deep love for helping people feel confident in their care. He purchased this West Covina practice in 2005 and has since created a space where patients of all ages feel comfortable, supported, and empowered.
Born in Nicaragua and raised in the U.S., Dr. Suarez brings heart and precision to everything he does, whether he’s leading the team, restoring smiles, or coaching kids in tennis and baseball. Fun fact: before his coaching days, he competed in triathlons!
Lupe
Patient Coordinator
With over 35 years in dentistry, and 15 of them right here at Dr. Ricardo Suarez’s office, Lupe is the steady, smiling presence who keeps the front desk running like a dream. As a patient coordinator, she helps patients feel at home from the moment they walk through the door, guiding them through appointments, treatment plans, and everything in between. A graduate of Bryman College and a former DA, Lupe brings decades of knowledge and a genuine love for helping others.
When she’s not organizing schedules or welcoming patients, she’s cheering on her grandkids, crocheting handmade gifts, or enjoying a classic movie marathon.
Isabella
Patient Coordinator
Isabella is the friendly face behind the front desk at Ricardo Suarez, DDS. As the patient coordinator, she keeps the schedule humming, helps patients feel at ease, and bridges communication between the clinical team and the front office. A UC Santa Cruz grad with a degree in psychology, Isabella is currently gearing up for her Master’s in health administration.
When she’s not managing appointments or decoding insurance policies, you’ll find her practicing Pilates, geeking out over skincare routines, getting creative with calligraphy, or taking quirky online courses.
Ebby
Financial Coordinator
With over 30 years of dental experience, 8 of them spent as a vital part of Dr. Suarez’s West Covina team, Ebelia (“Ebby”) is the calm in the storm for patients who walk in with dental anxiety. From answering phones to walking patients through treatment plans, financial arrangements, and insurance payments, Ebby does it all with compassion and a steady hand. Her dental journey started by chance, but she quickly found purpose in helping others overcome the same fears she once had. She loves helping patients of all ages discover their best smiles!
Outside the office, Ebby enjoys sunshine, all things Elvis Presley, swimming, travel, and playing adult softball.
Vanessa
Dental Assistant
Vanessa started dental assisting in 2017 and has been with our West Covina office since 2021. She keeps treatment rooms prepped, patients at ease, and procedures running like clockwork. A proud graduate of Northwest College in West Covina, she’s also the one making sure the team never runs out of supplies. Fluent in Spanish and passionate about creating a welcoming, calm environment, Vanessa brings warmth, strength, and precision to everything she does.
Outside the office, she enjoys weightlifting and staying active at the gym.
Michell
Dental Assistant
Michell is a graduate of Northwest College in Pomona. She has been in the field since 2023 and loves helping patients feel relaxed and confident in the chair. Whether she’s assisting during procedures, taking x-rays, or trading jokes with the team, Michell makes sure every visit is a little brighter.
Outside the office, she’s either camping, beach-hopping, or lifting weights with her fellow assistant Vanessa.

Dental Hygienist
April has been a registered dental hygienist for over 30 years and has spent 25 of them with us at Dr. Ricardo Suarez’s West Covina practice. A proud graduate of the University of Southern California, April is known for her expert cleanings, calming presence, and genuine relationships with patients. She’s passionate about educating others on their oral health and loves seeing familiar faces year after year.
When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find her out on the water, hitting the slopes, or enjoying a good workout.
Genelyn
Dental Hygienist
Genelyn brings over 25 years of dental experience to her role as a hygienist at Ricardo Suarez, DDS. A graduate of Concorde College, Genelyn started her journey as a registered dental assistant before becoming a registered dental hygienist over 10 years ago. She’s passionate about patient care, prevention, and teamwork.
Outside the office, you’ll find Genelyn thrifting, reworking clothes into new fashion finds, or crafting jewelry.
Fun fact: Her love of creativity runs in the family. Her mother once designed shoes and handbags for the First Lady of the Philippines!
I was a new patient in May. I have now had a bridge replacement, full X-rays and cleaning. I am very pleased with this dental office. They are extremely competent and very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend them.
