Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is one of the most common dental procedures performed to save your natural teeth and prevent the need for bridge or implants.

Most often there is an infection in the center of your tooth or pulp, which may be caused by trauma to the tooth, deep decay (near the nerve), cracks or repeated dental procedures.

Beyond the Expected

After local anesthetic is given to eliminate any discomfort, Dr. Suarez will remove the diseased or injured pulp and the nerve of the tooth. A prescription for antibiotics may be given. This treatment can usually be completed in one or two visits, depending on whether infection is present or not.

After the treatment is complete, Dr. Suarez will recommend the best restoration necessary to insure the success of the procedure and to protect your tooth.
